BACKGROUND
Interior Designer | Cotswolds, UK
Any space can be made beautiful, but not every space is designed with modern-day living in mind. True design success lies in balancing aesthetics with practicality. Functionality is key to creating interiors that stand the test of time and deliver genuine value.
My approach focuses on longevity and considered investment. I prioritise quality materials and thoughtfully selected products that provide lasting comfort, while maintaining a refined, designer look and feel.
Known for my ability to truly listen and understand each client’s needs, I offer a personal and highly tailored service. I work closely with trusted industry professionals to maximise the potential of every space, ensuring a seamless and cohesive end result.
My design philosophy is rooted in a classic approach, inspired by a love of antiques, character, and understated grandeur. This foundation creates interiors with a timeless elegance that can evolve naturally over the years. By combining this heritage influence with modern design techniques and contemporary products, I deliver interiors that are not only beautiful and cohesive, but also practical and highly functional.
Having grown up in older properties, I developed an instinct for reimagining unusually shaped rooms and finding creative furniture arrangements that enhance flow and usability. Over time, this evolved into a passion for clever storage solutions and intelligent small-space design, embracing every opportunity to problem-solve with purpose and creativity.
Driven by a desire to create contemporary interiors that do not simply follow trends, but instead endure, my company was born from a commitment to thoughtful design that truly stands the test of time.
Professional History
I hold a Bachelors degree in Contemporary Art and Professional Studies from Bath Spa University, a Professional Interior Design Diploma, and a Professional Furniture Design Diploma from the Florence Institute of Design, Italy.
In 2020, I continued on my design journey by training with the Interior Designers Business School to enhance theory based design knowledge and understand fundamental business processes allowing the launch of a successful independent business, Riches Interiors. In 2025, Riches Interiors has become a bricks and mortar location in beautiful Malmesbury, stocking paint and wallpaper at our studio premises.
